Slot canyons are those that are narrow and fun to explore.
These are in Arizona and empty into the Colorado River
prior to the Grand Canyon.  My cousin, Kirk, is standing
on the floor of the canyon on the
right.
Antelope canyon near Page, AZ is a sacred
Navajo Tribal Park and managed by the Navajo
Nation.
Entrance to the canyon is on the right.
When the sun is overhead you get the beam of
light to the canyon floor.

Palouse Falls in

railroads, canyons, rivers

Cedar Key, Florida rests on the Gulf coast
and is a neat place to visit.  Seabirds, crafts,
art and seafood are abundant.  Left is an old
B&B or a honeymoon shack that is right off
the coast.  The pier long ago destroyed in a
storm.
This is a panoramic image of the Bay Bridge in San Francisco Bay.  Four images were stitched
together using Photoshop Elements (6.0).  Go large if you view the photo link.  This is a big
photo.
Not very often does one have a camera, sit by a
clean/clear window in front of the wing, and then have a
blue sky with puffy white clouds.  Pilot was steering
around some high storm cells at around 27,000 feet.
Montara Beach, CA with strong winds
and a rough surf.  Coastal highway in the
background with the obvious Devil's
Slide in view.  Click and enlarge the
photo to see evidence of new tunnel
behind Devil's Slide.
Take your camera to the top of a parking garage.  Use a
tripod, set the shutter to 20 seconds, ISO about 100,
and wait for traffic.  Be surprised at what you capture.
Highest Point in Florida

Well, almost, this is Disney
World's Animal Kingdom
Mt Everest attraction.

Take on the treacherous terrain
of the towering Forbidden
Mountain in this high-altitude,
high-speed train adventure.
Nail-biting hairpin turns hurl you
forward toward the peak and
then, just when you think it
couldn't get more thrilling -
backward! The mountain's full of
surprises: Beware the snarling
beast who watches over his
domain... the Yeti!.
